Why did you choose the above major/field?

it helps us to define and explore the cause of diseases in varous organs; additionally, we can investigate the molicular and cytological characteristics of the diseases.

What did you do to prepare for the graduate school entrance examination?

I follow the previous students to learn regulations of divisions of the University, and revise knowledge of medicine for the examination.

Please tell us about your research.

I focus on investigation of stem cells recruited from dormante source in the brain following brain injuries.

What are the advantages of doing research at a graduate school?

good environment for students to conduct experiments, strongly supported by professor, friends and colleagues in the lab and also in the university

What are the skills that you are glad you have or that have helped you?

That is actively self study, to brainstorm carefully and deeply in any situations, especilly in clinical acitivities and scientific researches.

What kind of studies have you been doing since entering the graduate school?

I created some models of mouse brain injuries using conditional gene mutation to investigate the recovery of the injured brain.

Is there any changes in yourself since you entered the graduate school?

I had changed a lot after entering the course, not only awareness of research but also life activities

Please tell us about a memorable event in your laboratory.

The professor is very open to disscus the scientific research to solve problem, so all of us feel free and happy to do that.

Please tell us what you like about the University of Toyama.

All of you are very kind and ready to support all students there, and the environment is very excellent for science.

What career path do you want to take in the future?

I contine to do clinical acitivities as a cyto-histopathologist in hospital to make final diagnoses for patients

How do you spend your free time?

having sightseeing some quiet areas and communicate with residents there,they are very friend and kind.

Please tell us about the memorable events you had with your friends or colleagues.

Excellent clean environment, once we had to walk because of footache, then shoes were taken off, we went with socks only, when we got home, the socks are completely white as new ones.
